What is Mental Arithmetic?
Abacus is proved and quick method for mental calculations using two or four-digit numbers, whether addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisions or more advanced arithmetic operations. In old times, the abacus was made of a wooden frame with bars and rods consisting of beads, but nowadays they are made up of plastic, which is divided by one horizontal row of plastic beads through which calculations are made.
